The pavilion was designed in Bristol’s Paintworks to celebrate and showcase Chile’s famous and traditional dish “Curanto”. Since rocks play the major part of cooking the dish, the modular form was derived from the structural formula of rocks (being SiO2) to form the overall elegant and skeletal structure.
The pavilion was made to get people together in a friendly and open air atmosphere to celebrate a tradition.
