Drawing and Painting
Anti-Pinocchio
Pinocchio is a fictional character of a wooden puppet who was told he could become a real boy if he proves himself to be "brave, truthful and unselfish". Humans frequently prove themselves to be cowardly, untruthful and selfish. The concept of this study is to reverse the transformation, in which humans turn into wooden puppets shaped and controlled by the society.
In this study manikins are used as the wooden structure to which the human face is compared and transformed into.
